Hamshahri Javan interview, 2017

Issue 187 — published 10 September 2017 — Tehran

The Persian magazine Hamshahri Javan interviewed Helia Karisani and Mohammadreza Daneshvaramoli about the DOS AI System — the natural-language model they built to forecast the 2017 Iranian presidential election from more than a billion Telegram messages. It placed first in prediction accuracy in the national contest, coming within 96% of the actual outcome.
